Giving Thanks: Friends Who Order Dessert

Went lunching today with a lovely group of girls. As things were (sort of) wrapping up and the waiter asked if we'd like our check, my friend Liz said "Wait...aren't you guys getting dessert?"
Wa-wa-wa-what? Can I please get an Amen and a Hallelujah!?! Nothing delights me more than fellow foodies who aren't afraid to indulge and have some dessert every now and then. In all honesty, I'd resigned myself to never ordering dessert, because I despise being the lone dessert eater. Eating dessert alone = not fun at all. So thank you, Liz, for eating chocolate covered chocolate mousse cake and a scoop of ice cream with me. It was delightful (and so was the company).

I am with you on this one, so thank you Liz! Next time I want my own. I just got a text from Ashley that I thought you would appreciate, and I quote..."K. So Red Mango is so effing yummy! Seriously Divine" Too funny! Lets make that our next dessert.

Don't forget me! I'll ALWAYS eat dessert with you. Don't you remember that night that we went to 3 different restaurants looking for the "right" dessert? Chocolate covered chocolate mousse cake with ice cream sounds delish!

Yahooey! I love chocolate. I feel so happy you blogged this. YES!!! We'll do it again soon. I was pleased with the porcupine-whatever-it-was, but not the very best. We should go dessert hunting. Until Red Mango....

i love this 'giving thanks' series. i am thankful for it :)

my heart gets excited every time the waiter asks if we are up for dessert. my chosen company hardly ever says yes. when i get married, me and my husband are going to order dessert first. {don't know why i think i need to be married to do this, but..i think i do.}
