It's already February. I haven't even thought about making my own New Years Resolutions. Naturally, I looked to my trusty blogroll for a little inspiration. Found some great motivators/ideas to bag, borrow, and steal:
- Ali's create more and try new things
- Marta's creatively penned ideas (an oldy, but a goody)
- Lane's new direction
- Lori's mid-year reminder to listen, learn, labor, and love
- Angies desire to stand a little taller
- YHO's higher education
- 100 Percent Cottam's well-rounded resolutions
- Would Be Writers Guild's bravery/occasional wussiness
- Caroline's organization
- Unruly Thing's deadline, among other things
- Favourito's golden ticket
- Olivia's autographed photo of Scott Baio
- A Little Sussy's great find to get you thinking, an inspirational one upper
For now, the one thing I can add to this list is that I'd like to start dressing a little more my age. With the hope that it will eventually encourage me to start acting more my age too. Right now, it's a longshot.

act your age? who on earth wants that? especially when we both know what number we turn this year. boo.
That's funny, because after you posted your cute zebra sweater I thought to myself, "I want to be small enough to buy kids' sizes like Jaime Anne!"
don't change .. you're acting fun! and that make us all happy! :)
No need. Enjoy it while you are still so crazy cute it doesn't matter.
i'm afraid to admit that the posture isn't coming along as i had hoped. but, i feel refreshed - thanks - we should do monthly resolutions (if we do them at all)
I think most people missed the key word--that you are going to start DRESSING more your age, not acting it. I'll keep you fun-loving, thank you.
I do have to give you props for making a New Year's resolution that involves buying more clothes. Brilliant!
Lane makes a good point. Make that two good points.
I liked this post because it reminded me of so many I have forgotten about. And I'm anxious to see you trying new things, missy.
I think "acting your age" is way over-rated. Great resolutions!
no need to act your age! "she could see no reason to act her age" is one of my life mantras! i know what you mean about dressing your age, though. i feel like it's hard to figure out too young vs. old lady. thanks for the shout-out. that reminds me to get back and reevaluate my resolutions. how am i doing so far? only okay. but it's a new month!
bravo on a great list! I haven't put mine to paper yet...I would be more apt to meeting each one I am sure. I just can't narrow it down!
oh jamie, this made me happy! i have yet to pen in my new resolutions and was almost going to give up. i am so glad you n' me are on the same page.
i have been thinking about them, but have been so slow to action. thank you for the boost! i am promising myself to get right to it. good luck with yours, can't wait to hear your list.
i also haven't made any resolutions yet. i think i should resolve to be on american gladiators, that sounds fun.
I like the better posture one, I need to work on that one along with a million others.
Thanks for the happy birthday wishes, you're next! :)
Hey did you get the little convo-heart I emailed you? I think my email is not working. Lame.
Cute blog. I like the other blogs you posted here. Thanks for sharing. There are some great ideas!
acting your age is overrated:)
love your blog xo
Good to know I'm not the only resolution slacker!
