I'll miss this man, his contagious smile, witty humor, wisdom beyond years, and the cane he waved about.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could all leave this world knowing we made it a better place.
Well done Gordon B.
Sometimes I think I'm in lalalalove. Soon I realize it's just lust.

well done, indeed. i love and will miss that man!
i am grateful that i was given the opportunity to sit on the front row in my stake center and listen to him back in high school. it was well worth the 6 hour wait in line.
Amen! I hope when (and if) I reach 97, I will have lived a life even half as wonderful as his. What a truly great person.
I think your blog is just fantastic.
Once I was helping to serve a dinner for the speakers of a 10 stake fireside and as I was setting the table I was tapped on the shoulder and there was President Hinckley and Elder Asay standing there. I must of looked very surprised because they both laughed. He was sooo nice and made everyone feel so happy. My sister and I had introduced ourselves and the next day which was a Sunday, we were in a crowd of several hundred people shaking hands with everyone and he came over and he had remembered our names. I couldn't believe it. He was just the kindest & best person and Marjorie was so lovely. They will be dearly missed.
Me sad.
