As soon as the pumpkins take center stage in front of the local grocery, the wheels in my brain start turning in a new direction.
Gone are the days of sunscreen, snowcones, salads, and sunglasses. All I can think about is sweaters, sweet baked treats, stormy weather, and soirees. I dust off the recipe books, pull out the sweaters, and dream up the most amazing mother loving Halloween party this side of the Mississippi. I can't help it. Something about those pumpkins really gets me going. And I don't even like pumpkin pie.

I am dying to hear what your Halloween party ideas and plans are. I'll never forget the way you saved our Halloween a few years back by giving us a million and one ways to be true "Pink Ladies"--the Marti Maraschino glasses, the Rizzo make-up tips, etc. You are a Halloween genius. A Halloweenius. That sounds dirtier than I meant it to.
What about roast pumpkin? Mmm, I just had some with my dinner. And pumpkin & chocolate muffins - delish!
you don't like pumpkin pie!?!
I second Olivia--you are a Halloweeni-genius. Your Elvis costume that year was epic. But all your costumes are epic. I wish I could come to your mother-loving party this year!
I want an invite to this Halloweeniest party!
Dude. You (or we) need to have this party.
