NYC Getaway: Upstate NY

Last weekend, on our way to Niagara Falls, stopped in Palmyra, NY at the Chill & Grill. I can't turn down a good retro sign, blue skies, billowy clouds, hots, and ice cream.

Awesome photo! The Chill'N Grill is classic. My favorite is the frozen letters and the flaming letters.

Not pictured: Approx 25 missionaries (not exaggerating) eating and hanging out in front of the Chill'n Grill, which is apparently their headquarters.

ps. Apparently "hots" is the diminutive of "hot dogs" that is common to upstate lingo. Anyone else noticed this?

My mother-in-law taught me the beauty in stopping at a mom-n-pop burger and shake shop. Mmmm. Love the sign.
